Generally, the patients are instructed to start wearing the Noseperfect™ device at 3 weeks after surgery.
Most patients wear the device for 1 hour in the morning and 2 hours in the evening, but can wear it longer as tolerated.
Most patients were the device for at least 1 month, but sometimes up to 2-3 months or until the supratip swelling has resolved.
Most patients combined the two and then later stop the night taping and continue only with Noseperfect™.
The answer is yes and many people do with excellent results.
Noseperfect™ was specifically designed to compress the supratip area of the nose. There are no other nose shapers there specifically made to perform this task.
Answer is yes, however taping can irritate the skin of the cheek and nose. It also require some training and sometimes difficult to put it in the right spot. Using both night taping and Noseperfect™ in the early postoperative period can really work. Honestly, most of my patients just prefer wearing the Noseperfect™ device.
