About Nose Perfect
Nasal Shaping Device
Post-Rhinoplasty Patients
Hundreds of thousands of rhinoplasty procedures are performed each year in the United States. Proper post-surgical care is essential for a positive outcome. The Nose Perfect Nasal Shaping Device was designed and developed by board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Paul E. Chasan MD, FACS, of Ranch and Coast Plastic Surgery in Del Mar, California with the goal of improving patient comfort, reducing healing time and minimizing post-surgical complications.
Traditionally, many post rhinoplasty patients require post-operative compression of the supra-tip area of the nose. This has involved the use of uncomfortable adhesive tape across the nose and cheeks. This can take several months and often causes skin irritation and is difficult to apply. The traditional taping method can be affected by allergies to tape, perspiration, and wearing of make-up and is quite uncomfortable for the patient.
Nose Perfect eliminates the need for tape. The lightweight, reusable and comfortable device is designed with two softly padded prongs which are inserted into the nostrils and an ergonomically shaped pad which applies gentle pressure to the bridge of the nose. In addition, the Nose Perfect applies gently upward pressure on the tip of the nose to provide the perfect post-surgical outcome.
The recommended usage is to start at 2-3 weeks after rhinoplasty and use a minimum of 3 hours a day, up to 6 hours at a time. Patients are instructed to use the device for a minimum of 2 weeks, then re-evaluate the appearance of their nose. If there remains any supra-tip swelling, then use the Nose Perfect device for another 2 week interval until the nasal swelling has resolved.

Nose Perfect for Long Term Masks Wearers such as Healthcare and Essential Workers
As a result of the pandemic, most, if not all healthcare and essential workers wear N95 respiratory masks for 12 or more hours per day. The constant downward pressure on the tip of the nose caused by mask wearing may, over a period of time, cause an undesirable reshaping of the nose. The Nose Perfect nasal shaping device has been shown to be effective in maintaining the shape of the nose by applying gently pressure on the bridge of the nose while simultaneously applying gentle upward pressure on the tip of the nose. Dr. Chasan recommends that anyone who wears a mask for long periods of time wear the Nose Perfect for a few hours each night to maintain a properly shaped nose.
- Designed by a renowned cosmetic surgeon
- Counteracts the effects of long-term mask wearing
- Comfortable, lightweight and re-useable
- Latex free
Non-Surgical Nose Reshaping
Many people are unhappy with the shape of their nose but are unwilling or unable to undergo surgical reshaping. Studies suggest that wearing a device such as Nose Perfect, may in fact cause an improvement in the shape of the nose over time. Because of its ergonomic design, Nose Perfect applies gentle pressure on the bridge of the nose and gently upward pressure on the tip of the nose. This combination may help the non-surgical patient to achieve the perfect nose with minimal cost and discomfort.
